Let the brainstorming begin…

My first thought was to brainstorm the word Habitat..

Retrieved 12/5/14 from Visuwords http://www.visuwords.com/

Visuwords only came up with this for habitat I need to get a bit deeper..

I looked up what Wikipedia had to say about ‘Habitat’..

‘A habitat is an ecological or environmental area that is inhabited by a particular species of animalplant, or other type of organism. It is the natural environment in which an organism lives, or the physical environment that surrounds a species population.

A habitat is made up of physical factors such as soil, moisture, range of temperature, and availability of light as well as biotic factors such as the availability of food and the presence of predators. A habitat is not necessarily a geographic area—for a parasitic organism it is the body of its host or even a cell within the host’s body.’ Retrieved 12/5/14 Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habitat

I would like to think about the word ‘Habitat’ in terms of the body rather than the environment.

What I found interesting above in the Wikipedia definition of habitat is that it is not necessarily talking about environmental areas.

In Visually brainstorming the word ‘Habitat’ I came up with these words directly from it..

Now I have done a little bit of brainstorming on the word ‘Habitat’ I will now look at some light images that inspire me..
